The Class 2A third-ranked Purple Cats clinched the Class 2A, Region 2 title, defeating Wicksburg 49-35 Friday, October 14. Ariton’s head coach Steven Kilcrease earned his 100th career win as well. Kilcrease is now 100-39 in his 12-year head coaching career and 58-23 in his seven years as Ariton’s head coach.
