Citizens of Ozark will see several changes within the city’s administration in the upcoming year. Chief Phillip Prince retired at the end of 2022, and City Clerk Denise Strickland is planning her retirement this coming April. The City Council approved a motion to reorganize administrative positions during a November 2022 City Council meeting. Additionally, the council unanimously voted to appoint Charles Ward (Chief of Ozark Police Department) as Director of Public Safety. Ward’s position became effective January 1.
