Dale County Commission awards $60,000 for renovations of the future Ariton Museum

In a move to preserve local history and cultural heritage, the Dale County Commission has allocated $60,000 in funds towards the renovation of the former Greyhound Bus Station, set to be the future Ariton Museum. The decision to support this endeavor comes as part of the county's utilization of funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to facilitate government services.
