Dale County Solid Waste Authority has recently upgraded its solid waste accounting and billing system, bidding farewell to the locally developed but less user-friendly County Information Management System (CIMS). Developed in Montgomery, CIMS served its purpose but was limited to use on a single computer, posing challenges for efficient management.
