Eagles come up short against Valley

With a guaranteed seed into the high school 5A playoffs, Carroll hosted the Rams from Valley, Alabama Friday night October 27. The fans knew that without the Eagles starting quarterback, things were going to be tough! Keyshawn Cole is out for the rest of the season due to last week’s injury to his leg. So, at the helm for the offense, Peyton Plott had some big shoes to fill. Up to the challenge, Plott came out in the first quarter and did what he does best, ran with the ball. However, it was Lakeith Person who drew first blood on a 2-yard touchdown run.
