Planning for the events preceding Farm-City week is well underway, with the Farm-City Committee meeting at the Hoppergrass on Wednesday, September 28, to work on finalizing dates and plans as they move into the final month of preparations. The annual celebration recognized Thanksgiving week is preceded by several events designed to bring together rural and urban residents in an effort to broaden the understanding of how the collaboration of farmers and city workers provide to meet the needs of all.
