Fort Rucker’s New Name Receives Final Approval

It was announced on October 6 that name changes for Fort Rucker, among other military posts across the southern states, have been reviewed and approved.

The approval comes from an Implementation of the Naming Commission’s Recommendations, issued by Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III.
