OPD Requests Public Assistance in Search for Attempted Murder Suspect

By Christina Faulkner

The search for attempted murder suspect, Isaiah McGuire, 28 of Ozark, is ongoing, says Ozark Chief of Police Charles Ward. McGuire is a suspect in the December 17 shooting that left one man in critical condition.

Now the Ozark Police Department is asking the public’s help in locating McGuire. An active Attempted Murder warrant has been issued for McGuire’s arrest. McGuire is a black male, stands approximately 6’2” tall with brown eyes and black hair, believed to be worn in short twists on top. He is known to frequent the Brundidge area.

Ward says McGuire is considered to be armed and dangerous. Any knowledge of McGuire’s whereabouts or sighting of McGuire should be immediately reported to 911 or the Dale County Central E-911 at (334) 774-5111. Do not approach the suspect or attempt to apprehend him.
