In a significant collaborative effort, the Ozark Dale County Library joined forces with the Southeast Alabama Coalition for the Homeless to conduct a Point-in-Time (PIT) Count and Homeless Connect event on Saturday, January 27. The outreach initiative aimed to identify and assist homeless individuals and families in the community. The success of this event, marked by the participation of over 25 individuals seeking support, showcases the dedication of volunteers to extend warmth and compassion to those often marginalized on the streets.
