T-Mobile is planning the expected opening of its Ozark location just ahead of the holidays. The new store in Ozark is expected to open Monday, November 28 and will be located on Highway 231 in front of Grocery Outlet. Ozark is among five Alabama communities in which T-Mobile chose to expand its retail footprint. Attalla, Bay Minette, Greenville, and Moulton have recently seen new T-Mobile retail locations open as well.

Flags for Forgotten Soldiers Day Declared in Daleville

Daleville Mayor Jayme Stayton signed a Proclamation declaring November 15, 2022 as Flags for Forgotten Soldiers Day during the Daleville City Council meeting held November 15 at Daleville City Hall. 660 American flags were on display in front of City Hall, the Daleville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Daleville Cultural and Convention Center complex. The intent of the flags is to bring awareness to the 22 veteran suicides that occur every day throughout a given month. Flags were placed by Boy Scout Troop 88.

Ozark Celebrates 100-Year-Old WWII Veteran, Names Cullifer Grand Marshall of Christmas Parade

World War II veteran and Ozark resident Arthur C. “Ott” Cullifer will lead the Ozark Christmas Parade, Tuesday, December 6, as it makes its way along the downtown route. Cullifer, who will be 100 years old on December 18, is the Grand Marshall. Cullifer is one of the few remaining survivors of WWII.

Dale County Schools Scores Only “A” in Alabama
