The City of Ozark finds itself at the center of controversy as Bryant Fontenot, a resident of the city, initiated legal action against the municipality, seeking damages totaling $3 million. Fontenot alleges a litany of grievances, including false imprisonment, negligence, false arrest, malicious prosecution, humiliation, and violations of his civil rights.

Ozark Mayor Mark Blankenship declined to comment when asked about the legal action.
